At Meowsy, we respect your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect when you visit our store or place an order, how we use and share it, and the choices available to you.
1. Information We Collect
We collect personal information that you give us directly when you browse, buy from or contact our store. Depending on how you interact with us, this may include:
- Contact details, such as your name, email address and phone number.
- Shipping and billing information, such as your shipping address and billing address.

3. Payments
Payments are processed through the payment providers available at checkout, which may include card payments and services such as Shop Pay, PayPal, Apple Pay and Google Pay, depending on your location and device. Your payment information is submitted directly through Shopify's checkout and handled by these providers under their own terms and privacy policies.
Meowsy does not store your full payment card details. We may receive limited information from our payment providers, such as the payment method type, the last digits of a card, the billing address and the transaction status, so that we can process orders, issue refunds and help prevent fraud.
4. Cookies and Similar Technologies
Our store is hosted on Shopify. Shopify and other technologies used on our store may use cookies, pixels and similar technologies to:
- Provide essential store functions, such as keeping items in your cart, processing checkout and remembering your preferences.
- Understand how visitors use the store (analytics), where such tools are in use.
- Measure and deliver advertising, where such tools are in use and permitted by law.
Where required by law, we will ask for your consent before using non-essential cookies. You can also manage or delete cookies through your browser settings. Blocking certain cookies may affect how parts of the store, such as the cart and checkout, work.

We share personal information only as needed to operate our store and serve you, and as applicable to your order, including with:
- Shopify, which provides the platform that powers our store and checkout.
- Payment processors, to process your payment and help prevent fraud.
- Shipping and fulfillment providers, to deliver your order and provide tracking.
- Other service providers who support our business, such as customer support, email and IT services, acting on our behalf.
- Authorities and other parties, when required by law or legal process, or when necessary to protect our rights, our customers or others.
- A successor business, in connection with a merger, acquisition or sale of all or part of our business.
Because our service providers may operate in different countries, your information may be processed outside the country where you live. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for these transfers.
6. Marketing Emails
You may receive marketing emails from Meowsy, such as news, product updates and offers, when you subscribe to our emails or otherwise give consent where it is required. We do not need your marketing consent to send order and service messages about purchases you have made.
You can unsubscribe at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in any marketing email, or by contacting us through our Contact page. You will continue to receive service messages about your orders.
7. Data Retention and Security
We keep personal information for as long as reasonably needed to fulfill orders, provide customer service, meet our legal, tax and accounting obligations, resolve disputes and support other legitimate business purposes. When information is no longer needed, we take steps to delete or anonymize it.
We use reasonable administrative, technical and organizational measures to help protect your information, and our store runs on Shopify's platform, which uses encrypted connections for checkout. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Privacy Rights
Your privacy rights and choices depend on where you live. We serve customers in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia and New Zealand, and the laws in these places may give you some or all of the following rights:

Our store is intended for adults and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13, or under the minimum age set by the law where they live, in violation of applicable law. If you believe a child has given us personal information, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.

Our store may include links to, or features provided by, third parties such as Shopify, payment providers, shipping carriers and social media platforms. These third parties have their own privacy practices and policies, and we are not responsible for how they handle your information.
